Party Poker Launch German Ad Campaign with Tribal DDB Berlin
Tribal DDB Berlin is due to produce a new campaign for Party Poker in Germany, focusing on the newly re-launched poker site’s – now complete with its own mobile casino and sportsbook – ‘The Game is Changing’ tagline that has already had some success in the UK.
Since their redesign and focus on the social gamer, Party Poker have experienced somewhat of an upturn in fortunes. Struggling for a while, the re-brand bought greater visitor numbers immediately, with more due to follow. The addition of mobile casino games, and a sports betting platform, has fueled suggestions that bwin is using the brand as a testing ground.
Indeed, with the success of social gambling in recent times, it’s only natural for a major company such as bwin to look into creating a stand alone social gambling portal. The only problem has been the relatively small profit per player margin experienced so far with social casinos. Social and mobile sportsbooks, on the other hand, have flourished.
Danish director Martin Aamund will direct the TV advert, while Swedish photographer Peter Olsson is the man tasked with bringing the print ads to life.
Tribal DDB Berlin’s CEO Toby Pschorr commented: “For bwin.party, we have developed a fully integrated campaign that introduces the brand’s identity through digital and analogue touch points such as out-of-home, online and television.”
