Acer Liquid S1 Release Date Scheduled for Q3 2013
Acer Liquid S1
Acer Liquid S1 becomes the first device from the Taiwanese manufacturer to feature a giant 5.7-inch display.
In line with the latest trend of super-big smartphone displays, Acer is preparing to launch the Liquid S1 – a great mobile casino device featuring a 5.7-inch display with HD resolution. This size is a little big larger than the direct competitors HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4, not to mention the “small” iPhone 5.
On top of the giant display, the upcoming Android casino tamer sports a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1GB or RAM, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box. Other features include an 8MP camera with LED flash, DTS sound, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. The device will come in both single- and dual-SIM models.
The large screen is not only advantageous for mobile casino games enthusiasts, it also allowed Acer to include such software peculiarities as Float User Interface, Voice Unlock – launching apps with voice, and 2-Way Live Screen – for screen sharing.
The upcoming Acer Liquid S1 is expected to hit the shelves in Q3 this year across the following European countries: United Kingdom, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Ukraine and Russia. Later on the smartphone will also be available in Spain and Italy. The suggested starting price is EUR 349.
