Alcatel One Touch Idol X Release Revives the French Phonemaker
Alcatel Idol X
One Touch Idol X from Alcatel is expected to put the manufacturer back on the smartphone map.
Alcatel may have been absent from mobile casino tamer lists, but the French manufacturer plans to conquer the smartphone world with the announcement of One Touch Idol X. Dropping right into the high-end category, the new smartphone packs some impressive specs.
The new mobile casino games monster packs a 5 inch 1080p screen building on the latest trend of minimalistic bezels. Power specs include a quad-core 1.2Ghz CPU, 16GB of internal space with the possibility to extend via an SD card, 13MP camera, a spacious 2,000mAh battery, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The Idol X becomes the flagship device from Alcatel, who have recently announced One Touch Idol and Idol Ultra also with impressive specs and Jelly Bean onboard, but falling short of the Idol X.
So far, there’s no information about the pricing policy and the release date of the device. Also there are questions on whether the device will be launched in the US or not, the absence on LTE support makes the American debut chances very slim.
We really hope Alcatel devices do well with customers, as yet another competitor should make things more difficult for the current market dominators, hence prompting them to speed up innovation and push prices down.
