Android Jelly Bean Release for HTC Smartphones Officially Confirmed
HTC and Jelly Bean
Mobile casino gamers jump for joy as HTC officially announces the Android Jelly Bean upgrade for its One X, One XL, and One S smartphones.
Only a few ago an Australian carrier Telstra let it slip that HTC One XL and One S will be updated with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Read more in our Android Jelly Bean Release Date HTC One S and One XL in Australia article.
Now, real money Android casino enthusiasts are certain: the Taiwanese giant officially confirmed the update publishing the full list of smartphones scheduled to receive the Jelly Bean.
This is what we know so far: The HTC One X (based on Tegra 3), the HTC One XL (based on Qualcomm S4, also known as HTC One X on the AT&T network) and the HTC One S will become the company’s first smartphones to be updated with the latest Android OS.
Android Jelly Bean is bringing lots of small improvements and additional features, and is said to take the mobile casino games experience on a qualitatively different level. Not that Ice Cream Sandwich is bad in this respect, but it never hurts to have the latest thing.
Unfortunately these are the only devices that are currently scheduled to receive the update. Mobile casino fans, who chose the HTC One V as their primary gambling tool, will have to wait a bit longer in order to find out if and when their smartphone will receive the latest green man.
So far, no information is available on when exactly and in which countries the Jelly Bean will start to reach HTC device owners. The company promised to reveal the “timing and other details about HTC and Jelly Bean” in the very near future.
