Apple Allegedly Sells Refurbished Products Through EBay
Apple eBay store
A mysterious eBay store is allegedly used by Apple to sell refurbished mobile gaming products.
According to mobile gambling news sources, Apple opened its first eBay store to try out selling selected refurbished products.
A mysterious Apple-focused refurbished store appeared on eBay about a month ago. The online store was labeled simply “Refurbished Outlet”. The corporate information was hidden, and nothing was said about contact information.
However, the store got an impressive 99.7 percent positive feedback and review from buyers. Still, there is no information available on the origin of the mobile gambling devices sold there.
There were theories that Apple might be testing to sell refurbished mobile gaming tools directly to customers through eBay, some even going as far as suggesting that the “Refurbished Outlet” is in fact an Apple-run store. No-one commented on behalf of eBay or Apple.
There are many signs showing direct Apple involvement. Like Apple’s own refurbished products in their online and land stores, the “refurbished outlet” devices all deliver the following:
- Full one-year warranty
- Returned to like-new condition
- iPads/iPods with a new battery
- Complete burn-in testing
- Original OS re-installed
- Repackaged with manual and cable
Most importantly, the store tells about a final quality inspection by Apple. And last but not least, the eBay prices of devices are identical to the Apple Store’s refurbished prices.
