New Mobile Sportsbook as Starbet and SBTech Team Up
Belgian land-based casino Starbet is all set to launch a mobile sportsbook after partnering with sports betting solutions provider SBTech. The partnership will give Starbet access to SBTech’s new live betting platform, complete with 10,000 monthly live events. The platform uses HTML5 to ensure compatibility across platforms.
The creation of a new mobile sports betting platform will enable Starbet to continue their expansion plans, and provide a comprehensive service to bettors in regulated markets, something that Managing Director Stef Kraus feels is very important: “We wanted to give our customers simply the best online betting experience available, and the cutting-edge betting capabilities offered by SBTech provide just that.”
Mobile casinos and sportsbooks have taken off in recent times, especially in Europe, and with many land-based casinos looking to get into the lucrative market, SBTech have positioned themselves to help those companies, as CEO Itai Zak explained.
“Regulated markets and land-based operators are a key focus for SBTech. We are confident that our proven track record in helping land-based operations expand into online and mobile will help Starbet to grow their business significantly.”
Should the partnership prove a success in Belgium, then they will have proved themselves at the highest level, due to the strict gambling laws in place in the Northern European country. SBTech could well expand into new areas in the coming months, especially with its new solution gaining popularity.
