Betting 3.0 Coming to Mobile Devices

Integration is the keyword as major partners sign agreements with Betfuze.
Mobile sports betting fans will soon have a whole new application at their fingertips – one that promises to take punters into the “Betting 3.0” era.
The new betting platform in question is called Betfuze and has been developed by leading app creator YUZA, in a partnership with industry veteran Paul McNea. As opposed to most other solutions out there, Betfuze has been built straight for mobile, instead of being the extension of an existing online sportsbook.
What makes Betfuze really special, though, is the promise to integrate offers from leading sportsbooks with the massive amount of relevant information to be found out there in the virtual world.
According to company CTO Tom Cohen, “Betfuze is an evolved betting experience. It provides a fusion of sentiment and facts by amalgamating a diverse range of data sources such as public opinion, historical information and contextual details particular to any one event. When our users look at possible bets, they have access to everything – from relevant news and weather information to a lot more. Betfuze is about providing a rich user experience where technology enhances the player experience.”
Using a native app instead of HTML5 will allow for better integration, but it also means that it will only be available to iPhone and iPad Gambling fans at time of the launch.
Content is of course just as important as technology, so moving a step closer to the planned UK and Ireland release this spring, several major sponsors came on board last week. Once released, Betfuze will now feature major bookies, such as Coral, Ladbrokes and William Hill.
In addition to sports betting, platform developers also realized the need to add a prominent mobile casino to their offer, so they picked All Slots Casino as the destination of choice.
The casino’s VP David Brickman said the company was “proud to be a partner of what we consider to be one of the most innovative gaming platforms we’ve ever seen, and are honored that All Slots Casino is the exclusive online casino on the platform.”
Brickman also expressed his belief that the “Betfuze mobile betting platform will help to redefine how players interact and relate to the gaming experience,” and concluded by saying that the product “is truly cutting-edge and has raised the bar in terms of quality of design and the level of technology.”
Betfuze CEO Paul McNea also emphasized the value of these partnerships. “The tech is only part of the story though and it’s the work we do with key partners to build on the excellent service they already provide which really pushes the ability to attain high levels of customer engagement,” said McNea.
