BlackBerry 10.2
BB 10.2 OS update was revealed by top executive, expected to reach the devices later this year.
The brand new BB10 OS was and still is regarded by many industry experts as BlackBerry’s savior. And indeed, the launch of the OS as well as new BlackBerry mobile casino devices: Z10 and Q10 have been a success and have helped the struggling manufacturer to gain back some ground.
The first major update has already reached BlackBerry mobile gambling tools several weeks ago, but now there’s already word about a second one. The latest news comes directly from Michael Clewley, BB’s Product Manager, who confirmed that the BlackBerry 10.2 OS has been scheduled for release later this year.
The executive went on to reveal some of the upcoming features, which will reach the mobile casino tamers, including the standard Unicode emojis, reminders, multiple alarms, and level 1 notifications.
And there’s also a wealth of screenshots derived from a pre-release version of the BB 10.2, which sheds even more light on the specs and features of the upcoming update. Other features will add quick actions to the notifications, for example allowing users to respond to messages right from the notification area.
Further improvements feature support for the Wi-Fi Direct, allowing BlackBerry owners to share content directly via Wi-Fi without requiring a router. Naturally, the BB 10.2 update will feature much more improvements by the time it will hit the devices. We will monitor the news closely to report back to our faithful readers.
