More specifications of the BlackBerry A10 have been showcased in the alleged live video of the upcoming smartphone.
The BlackBerry A10 rumors and speculation are gathering momentum. The yet-to-be-announced BlackBerry mobile casino device is said to replace the current flagship – Z10. The new smartphone will bring a bigger screen – 5-inch AMOLED (Z10 has 4.2 inches) with 720p resolution.
The recent video sheds more light on the device’s hardware and allegedly shows the real smartphone in all its glory. According to this source the new BlackBerry gambling tool will be powered by a dual-core Krait processor clocked at 1.7GHz (Z10 – has 1.5GHz). The battery is rumored to receive a whopping 1,000mAh upgrade to 2,800mAh.
The new screen size has caused the BlackBerry A10 to grow in size over the Z10. The video also suggests that the back panel of the new mobile casino monster is made of Kevlar (just like the Moto RAZRs) and is freely removable. There’s also a metal frame under the back panel, which is supposed to provide the phone with enhanced durability.
The leaked video showed the BlackBerry A10 running on the BB10.2 OS, and the smartphone was wearing an AT&T logo on its back side. Naturally, the release date and pricing are still a mystery. It’s up to you if you want to believe the rumors or not, the safer choice is to wait for some kind of an official confirmation from the Canadian manufacturer.
