Blackjack Helping Set Casino Revenue Records in Pennsylvania
Blackjack Casino
Pennsylvania introduced the opportunity to provide blackjack games and other table games at several state casinos almost two months ago; today, the numbers are stunning. The state has released some general information on revenues for the casinos and this experiment can clearly be labeled a success.
Aside from the extra revenues generated at the blackjack tables, the effect of introducing table gaming in Pennsylvania has created a snowball effect thanks to a fresh new atmosphere. Thanks to table gaming, Pennsylvania casinos set a record with an 18% revenue increase year-on-year – on slot machines only.
The highest increase in slot revenues was seen as the Sands Casino Resort Bethelem, which, after introducing 89 games including poker, blackjack, craps, roulette and baccarat alongside novelties like Let it Ride and Casino War, took in over $1.6 million in 14 days. And, thanks to blackjack and its brethren, Sands slots earned over $24 million, a 25% jump year-on-year.
Sands Bethelem president Robert DeSalvio stated that “Combining table games with our slot machines and our mix of […] entertainment options creates an environment we are confident will attract visitors from across the region.”
It looks as though it already has.
Not in Pennsylvania but still desiring some table game action? Feel free to try any of our approved online blackjack casinos.

Pennsylvania made a smart move in allowing table games, and so far it seems like they are managing the change quite well (in spite of all those rascals who think they can get away with cheating at a casino!)
