The much anticipated successor to Samsung Galaxy Note is reportedly coming this fall.

The first generation of Samsung’s unique blend of a smartphone and a tablet – Galaxy Note – is a highly successful device, selling over 7 million units already, despite its release date late last year.

The rumors about the successor – Galaxy Note II – have already been circulating mobile casino forums, and we reported some of them in our Samsung Galaxy Note II Release Date Discussed by Mobile Gamers article.

Now, more sources confirm the October release date for the device, backing up their claims by rumored iPhone 5 release date in the fall. Not that the devices play in the same field, but it’s always a good idea to steal some thunder from your closes rival.

According to the multitude of rumors, the Galaxy Note II will feature a quad-core Exynos CPU, allowing unprecedented gameplay and level of detail at real money Android casinos. Other specs will supposedly include a 12MP snapper and a larger battery.

Other sources suggest that a unique unbreakable plane (UBP) display technology will be utilized on the new device. The display itself is rumored to be a bit bigger than the current 5.3 inch, however we’re not sure if there’s a need for a larger screen.

One final piece of rumors talks about the completely new Android OS – Jelly Bean – making its way onto the Galaxy Note II. The OS is supposed to be announced at a special Google event later this month, so there might be a pinch of truth in these suggestions. In any case we’ll keep looking out for the latest information and report back to you as soon as we get it.
