Canadian Gamblers Butchered in Atlantic City
AC the Butcher City
A paranoid schizophreniac kills two Canadian tourist near Ballys Casino in Atlantic City.
Two Canadian residents visiting Atlantic City missed one point: the streets there aren’t safe. Of course, as the American casino news portray, most of the time nothing will happen near the local casinos. Venturing further down into rough neighborhoods is a sign of asking for trouble, though.
But, butcheries with a machete-sized knives in front of renowned casinos aren’t usual. Unfortunately, a severely deranged schizophreniac, in an apparent rage of paranoia has stabbed to death two people, 47 and 80 years old Canadians of Asian descent.
The murderer, a 44-year-old Afro-American woman, has been suffering from mental illnesses for years, as it is claimed. While living off welfare, she only once has held a job at Wendy’s, a burger place. What happened there isn’t disclosed.
The vicious killer, a mother of three, has been charged with double homicide and a bail has been set at $1.5 million.
Unfortunately for New Jersey, land-based casino resort district has been set at a unsafe neighborhood. Doing it otherwise may have had resulted in accusations of political incorrectness at the best, and racism at the worst.
New Jersey also happens to be one of the wealthiest states and is located in New York-metro area. Many gambling industry insiders, however, expect Atlantic City revenues to decline once smartphone gambling arrives to America. As our research indicates, mobile gambling alone is expected to quintuple its revenues worldwide in the next five years.
Thus, some other places will need to lose. Atlantic City, especially given its bad safety record, is one potential victim. After all, games like playing blackjack may be done elsewhere and with ease.
