Businessman Who Won $15 Million Playing Blackjack Hosts Charity Game
The Double Down with Don Johnson Charity Black Jack Tournament, that took place in Atlantic City last week has raised $5,000 for charity D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education).
If you want any Blackjack Tips, you should search out the winning team from Philadelphia’s Soundgarden Hall, whose nominated charity, D.A.R.E., received a check for $5,000 from Golden Nugget, the casino who held the tournament.
Don Johnson, the winner of a massive $5.5 million in 2012, may not have had any smart strategies to come up trumps this time, but the celebrity still donated $10,000 of his own to the Saint Ephrem School.
The tournament took place at the Haven nightclub in the Golden Nugget casino in Atlantic City, and attracted another 12 entrants. With Atlantic City due to face competition from a possible New York casino in the near future, their casinos are looking for new ways to promote their tables, and Don Johnson’s presence was surely a coup for the casino.
It’s still worth asking the Pennsylvania businessman for some blackjack tricks, as he took $15 million off of Atlantic City casinos in a few months, after $4 million was won at Caesars and $5 million at Borgata. That’s some mighty fine winning.
