Christophe Claret Presents a Wristwatch That Plays Poker
The genius watchmakers from Christophe Claret created another piece of art – an automaton watch that plays poker.
It took the company two years of exceptional work to create the watch, carrying the simple name “The Poker”. There is nothing else simple related to this true masterpiece. It allows up to three players to get together around the 45-millimetre face to play a Texas Hold’em game.
There are series of wheels, which contain a full deck of 52 cards, which will select the flop, turn and river. Another wheels deal a hand to each of the three players, similarly to the mobile casinos’ practice. Additionally, there are smart shutters, which prevent players from seeing each others’ hands.
Only true collectors can appreciate this luxurious watch
In total, “The Poker” offers 32,768 different combinations, which make 98,304 combinations for three players. The probabilities were calculated in such a way, so that each player has similar chances of winning. This watch will definitely require casino table manners among its users, as it will offer similarly exciting games.
In addition to the opportunity to play poker, and if the owner just wants to relax for a bit, there is an actual roulette wheel that is built into the back of the watch. Christophe Claret also equipped “The Poker” with a cathedral gong, which goes on every time a pusher is activated.
Keeping in mind that only 80 watches will be made, this watch is definitely in the super high category available only for limited circle of people, who also might happen to be devoted poker players.
