Relaunched real-money gambling Full Tilt online poker site attracts 22,200 players in the first hours.

One of the most eagerly awaited dates by casino gambling news was the in 2012 was the 6th of November, the re-launch of the Full Tilt Poker site. Poker Stars acquired the troubled company and made efforts to provide ex Full Tilt players the possibility to carry on gambling using their old accounts.

As announced earlier, yesterday 12 noon GMT the Isle-of-Man registered Full Tilt Poker finally commenced real-money gambling. The new poker site allowed players to access altogether $184 million in their accounts.

No Full Tilt online poker for US players

Not everybody is happy. Players from the United States, Belgium Denmark, France Italy, Spain, and Estonia and will have to wait to access their accounts, as there are still on-going legal negotiations in progress in those countries

The re-launched site registered 22,200 players during the first one and a half hours after opening, showing that former players wanted to keep on playing online poker. To be frank, most of them were of course also interested if they would be able to reach their pre-shutdown balances.

New Full Tilt site promises to be better than ever

Full Tilt Poker’s marketing head Sarne Lightman promises: “Full Tilt Poker is back and better than ever. We are bringing back to the players everything they loved about the site and we invite them to help us celebrate by joining our ‘Deal Me In’ launch promotions.”

Gus Hansen, the well-known pro card player hired as brand ambassador added: “The return of Full Tilt Poker fills a hole in the community that’s been felt by millions of players.”
