New technology facilitates simultaneous flash and HTML5 development.

The long wait is finally over for mobile slots players. All that remains is a short wait, or no wait at all.

At least that is the message from the multi-platform slots developer Genesis Gaming. The Nevada-based company has recently announced a new mobile slots delivery system called ConceptionXD, promising to speed up the development and release of new games significantly.

The XD in ConceptionXD stand for ‘Cross Channel Delivery’ referring to its ability to facilitate the release of slot titles both online and on mobiles, as a result of the same development project.

Indeed, relying on HTML5 in creating AAA slot games, the new technology promises completely simultaneous release to mobile casinos and PCs (in Flash format).

“We are very pleased to offer this new approach to fast tracking high quality mobile game production,” said Genesis GM, Geoffrey Hansen, adding that “we aim to simplify the roadmap and marketing efforts of operators seeking quality games for multiple channels. In particular, the ability for a simultaneous launch of a game on both the online and mobile channels is both efficient and effective for casino operators.”

ConceptionXD already proved that the hopes have not been misplaced, as the first simultaneous release took place a few days ago. It involved East of the Sun West of the Moon, a Norwegian folklore-themed slot game, which was launched by gambling operator Unibet both on its casino site and via its iOS and Android casino platforms.

The new tool will undoubtedly provide a strong competitive edge to Genesis Gaming, as online casino operators are feeling the pressure to concentrate on distributing gaming content to players quickly through several parallel delivery channels.
