Genesis Gets New Management Team After Founder Meistrich Resigns
New managers of Genesis Gaming promise to bring “energy and productivity” to the company.
Online and mobile slots provider Genesis Gaming is preparing to welcome its new management team. Founder and former chief executive officer Steven Meistrich resigned after seven years with the company.
According to company representatives, Geoffrey Hansen will be in charge of worldwide operations as managing director and co-founder Scott Sims was appointed vice-president of worldwide game design studios. Joe Cheung will be occupying the position of director of finance, while James Watson was named chief of European sales.
The new management board says the company’s strategic direction remains the same, meaning Genesis Gaming will continue to develop online and mobile casino software, as well as slot games for land-based gambling operators.
New management has big plans for 2014
Genesis Gaming will continue plans to expand on the European and North American casino markets and the new directors say they are eager to work closely with the company’s partners and customers, in order to achieve their common goals.
Geoffrey Hansen stated: “I have been active in business development and technology development for the company in the last 18 months and am proud of the new initiatives that have been positioning the company for new markets and growth.”
“The change in management has brought new energy and productivity to our game development studios, and we look forward to showing our customers new concepts and games in the New Year,” Sims added.
