Global Cash Access to Provide New Services for MGM Resorts
A renewed contract between Global Cash Access and MGM Resorts brings new ticket redemption kiosks to MGM casinos.
As casino developers are looking forward to increasing their profits in the year to come, the latest casino gambling news announce new partnerships and bold business decisions. Cash handling solutions provider Global Cash Access (GCA) and land-based casino operator MGM Resort International have decided to renew and extend their existing contract, as of 2014.
In addition to the cash access services provided so far, GCA will be offering their full suite of ticket redemption kiosks to MGM Resorts properties.
GCA president and CEO David Lopez stated: “We are excited to expand this important relationship with MGM Resorts and we look forward to integrating our full suite of kiosk equipment and services with our core cash access products to provide MGM Resorts with an end-to-end solution for its cash management and cash access needs.”
Everi, the latest interactive gaming solution
Earlier this year, GCA launched Everi, a new interactive gaming payments and monetization service. The product is integrated into the network of kiosks, it’s designed for mobile casinos and social gaming platforms and it includes a straight-through payment system, a digital wallet and a productivity suit.
Back in August, when the product was launched, Lopez said: “Everi will revolutionize the payments process by making interactive gaming payments an integral part of the player loyalty and monetization process for online and land-based gaming operators through its complete integration with GCA’s kiosks and expansive land-based operations.”
