Details about the release of the HTC Windows Phone 8X have been slipped by the online retailer Amazon UK.
The HTC Windows Phone 8X has been occupying the minds of busy real money mobile casino gamers ever since the device has been officially announced last week. Much to the surprise of mobile gamers, Amazon UK, has already revealed the release date for the smartphone.
The online retail giant already has the HTC Windows Phone 8X available for pre-orders. Amazon UK promises to start delivering the new Windows mobile casino tamer to buyers come November 8. The SIM-free version of the phone will cost around $860, which seems a bit steep, but considering the specs of the smartphone is quite understandable.
The HTC Windows Phone 8X will deliver real money Windows mobile gambling fans a Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon chipset with 1.5GHz dual-core Krait CPU and Adreno 225 GPU. Other features include 1GB or RAM, 16GB of internal memory, 8MP snapper with 1080p video capabilities and, naturally, the Windows Phone 8 platform scheduled to debut in late October.
The smartphone will become HTC’s Windows Phone flagship and will compete with similar devices from Samsung, Huawei, Nokia, and others. HTC also plans to launch a mid-range device called Windows Phone 8S.
Another United Kingdom retailer, Clove, offers the 8X for much less – $650, it will be interesting to learn which of the two is closer to the real price, but we’ll have to wait until the official release to know more details.
