Huawei Confirms the Ascend D Quad and D Quad XL Release Dates
Ascend D Quad
Mobile gamers were able to learn when they can lay their hands on Huawei most powerful smartphones.
Following several launch delays, Huawei finally confirmed that the company’s most powerful droids, the Ascend D Quad and D Quad XL, are to land in the hands of real money mobile casino players by the end of this month.
Both smartphones are running on the company’s proprietary 1.2GHz quad-core K3V2 chipset. The only difference between the two devices is that the D Quad XL features a more capacitive 2,600mAh battery and thus will be able to provide longer real money Android blackjack sessions.
Both Huawei Ascend D Quad and Quad XL feature a 4.5 inch IPS HD screen, 8GB of internal memory with further extension options via a microSD card, and a 8MP BSI snapper.
The specs seem quite good for any Android mobile casino fan, but the delay in launch could prove to have a very negative effect on the smartphones’ sales, considering Xiaomi’s announcement of a much more powerful Mi-Two device powered by quad-core Krait CPU.
The two smartphones will go on sale in China in the beginning, but will shortly hit the shelves around the world too. No information is yet available on the exact release dates and the pricing policy for the Huawei Ascend D Quad and D Quad XL.
