IGT Launches 19 New Games Adapted to British Regulations
With new maximum bet and reward structures, IGT brought changes to its portfolio of casino games.
After the British Government approved the new Triennial Review of Gaming Machine Stakes and Prizes last October, International Game Technology (IGT) has released 19 new titles on the UK gambling market. The Nevada-based company specializes in the development of gaming machines and network systems, as well as online and mobile casino software for regulated markets around the world.
IGT’s gaming portfolio needed an update after British lawmakers established new maximum bet and reward structures for online and mobile sports betting, at GBP5 and GBP10,000 respectively.
Big prizes with Fort Knox progressives
The new wagering structure was implemented in all 19 games. The new titles include 10 standard games and nine Fort Knox progressives. IGT made sure that casino games such as Diamond Queen or Candy Bars, as well as popular Fort Knox titles like Cleopatra and Mayan Riches are adapted to the latest British gambling legislation.
Sabby Gill, IGT’s senior vice president of international sales stated: “The UK gaming market has seen great growth in recent years and we believe this new legislation will help foster a more competitive and rewarding market for casinos and players. IGT is pleased to play an increasing role in such an exciting market.”
For gamblers who prefer Fort Knox progressives, a top award of GBP20,000 will be on offer. The new system is meant to allow casinos to grow, while offering players a rewarding and interesting experience.
