While eating their hotdogs and drinking beers in an underground cockfighting ring, the apparently innocent bettors and spectators, many underage, ended up arrested together with the owners as police forcibly broke through the door. The sad news is that animal control officials needed to destroy nearly 40 aggressive and beaten roosters that still had razors attached to their feet.
In total, 28 people ended up arrested, $14,000 confiscated, and the ring destroyed.
