IPad Mini Prepares to Conquer the Mobile Gambling World
iPad mini
Mobile casino gambling is soon to receive a new tool: Apple iPad mini. The device was officially unveiled this week.
Following the enormity of rumors and speculations, Apple has finally presented the iPad mini to the wide public. Most of the predictions turned out to be true, the new device is very much capable of running the best mobile casino games.
We all remember how Steve Jobs opposed the idea of a smaller tablet, sorry Steve, the competition is fierce here. The iPad mini got a 7.9 inch LED-backlit IPS screen with 1024x768p resolution with 163ppi density.
Fast iPad casino action is guaranteed by the Apple A5 SoC which packs a 1GHz dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU, PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU and 512MB of RAM. Basically it’s the same configuration found inside the iPad 2, but should be enough considering the smaller size of the iPad mini. The latest Lightning port, we met on the iPhone 5, has made its way onto the new device as well.
In the camera department, the iPad mini packs a 5MP rear snapper with 1080p video recording capabilities. The 720p front camera is pretty suitable for FaceTime and Skype.
The new iPad mobile gambling tool will come in either black or while color. Buyers can choose between 16, 32, and 64GB built-in memory. And yes, its non-expandable as usual.
The only surprising thing about the iPad mini is its price. No one expected the small Apple tablet to start at $329, pretty steep if you ask us, especially compared to $199 for Google Nexus 7, and $159 for Amazon Kindle Fire. Oh, well, the guys at Cupertino know best anyhow.
The iPad mini is scheduled to be available for pre-orders starting next week and it should appear on the shelves by November 2. The pricing policy: $329 for 16GB, $429 for 32, and $529 for 64GB. In case Wi-Fi is not enough, there will be a Wi-Fi + 3G model starting at $459 for the 16GB version.
