IPhone 5 Sales Going Strong Beating the Predecessor Figures
iPhone 5 results
The first weekend of iPhone 5 sales is behind us, and the Cupertino company has already revealed results.
Some market experts were expecting the latest iPhone casino monster to sell over 8 million units in the first weekend. Unfortunately for Apple that figure wasn’t reached, but the iPhone 5 sales managed to beat those of iPhone 4S anyway.
During the first three days since the iPhone 5 became available for sale in nine initial countries, over 5 million units found their way to lucky iPhone mobile gambling fans. Previous records include over 4 million units for the iPhone 4S, and just 1.7 million for the iPhone 4.
What remained unchanged – is the demand for the real money mobile casino tool. The Cupertino company couldn’t cope with the amount of smartphones ordered, and some buyer who made a pre-order will have to wait until October to receive the iPhone 5.
Come September 28, the new mobile casino games wonder will become available in 22 more countries, including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. By the time the year 2012 is through, the new Apple flagship will be on the shelves of 100 countries.
Naturally, the new Apple smartphone is one of the most expensive devices on the market. Currently, European unlocked versions cost around EUR 670. Of course, network carrier deals allow buyers to lay their hands on the iPhone 5 for much less.
