LG Optimus Vu to Be Released on a Global Scale
LG Optimus Vu
Following the footsteps of the highly successful Samsung Galaxy Note, LG announced its very own phoneblet Optimus VU.
With a view to capture the growing market for smartphone/tablets, LG announced Optimus Vu device for global availability. The phoneblet will reach mobile casino enthusiasts in selected markets in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America as early as September.
The LG Optimus Vu will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and will offer mobile casino games regulars a giant 5 inch screen. Other specs include the NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core CPU, replacing the dual-core Qualcomm processor found in already available Japanese and Korean versions of the device.
However, the much faster CPU will sacrifice the LTE connectivity, but taking into consideration the weak penetration of the technology in the destined markets, it doesn’t seem like a big loss for Android casino fans.
Other features of the global LG Optimus Vu are similar to the Korean and Japanese version and include 1GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in memory sadly without the possibility to extend via a microSD card, 8MP snapper on the back and a stylus.
The exact global release date is still unknown just as the pricing policy is, but keep checking back to BlackjackChamp.com as we’ll follow the developments closely and report all the news as soon as we learn them.
