Mobile Gamers Riot Over the Samsung Note Expensive Review
Galaxy Note
Samsung’s new monster of a smartphone, Galaxy Note, is scheduled to hit the shelves by the end of this year, much to the delight of mobile gamers.
Both technophiles and fans of mobile casinos were angrier than Donkey Kong by the price of the latest Samsung Galaxy Note, presented at this year’s IFA. One gamer even made his avatar go on a hunger strike in World of Warcraft online role playing game.
The new smartphone managed to outperform Galaxy S II, scoring higher on a Quadrant benchmark, but the coveted. The Samsung Note runs on Android Gingerbread, just like the Galaxy S II.
The most impressive feature of the new phone is the resolution of its display, it beats that of Galaxy S II by around 2.5 times. Regulars of Android casinos soon will be able to utilize the power of Galaxy Note including a 5.3 inch 800×1280 screen, dual-core 1.4GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, Mali-400MP GPU with Exynos chipset.
This powerhouse will also treat fans of mobile casino games to additional features including 8 MP camera with 3264×2448 pixels, autofocus and LED flash, 1080p video recording capabilities, second 2 MP camera for video chatting, 16GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM and the usual collection of useful features, we can expect from a high-end phone.
The official release date comes down to “by the end of the year”, which is inspiring enough, yet not what we learned to expect from Samsung. The official pricing to date only concerns Scandinavian countries and ranges from $929 to $1,133. With the price like that the Samsung Note could become luxury item, not everyone will be able to afford.
