Obama Loses Alaska to Canada in High Stakes Blackjack Game
US President Barack Obama lost the state of Alaska to Canada yesterday during a heated blackjack game. The game, which took place in an “unofficial” gambling parlor hidden away in the White House, included Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper who was acting as dealer, plus the heads of state of several other countries around the world who had flown in for a little gambling action.
“The game started off very casual,” said Obama. “But things started heating up around 10pm. It may have been a combination of the Mountain Dew and Hot Pockets that Michelle kept feeding us, but whatever it was, the game started getting out of control.”
“UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown was the first to cross the line when he put Big Ben down on the table. Fortunately he won that hand, but all he got from Harper was a lousy t-shirt that says “Canada, eh?”
The climax of the evening’s entertainment came after a dispute between Obama and Harper over how to properly pronounce the word “about”. Obama, also frustrated because he kept losing, decided to put Alaska down on the table. Harper was showing an 8, while Obama had a 5 and a 7. He decided to hit, and when the Jack came down on the table, he turned green.
All he could say before passing out was, “Palin is going to kill me.”
