Official photos of the much anticipated Sony Yuga smartphones shines on mobile gamers from the manufacturer’s official webpage.

The next big Sony event is scheduled for January 7 and the Japanese giant is expected to announce two brand new smartphones at the press conference if rumors are to be believed. One of the mobile casino devices is widely expected to be the Sony Yuga or Xperia Z how it is now called.

The pictured of new Android casino tool have been noticed at Sony’s official website by the ever-restless mobile casino gamers. Various sources suggest the following specs for the upcoming device: a 5 inch 1080p display, Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset with quad-core CPU, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.

Although the Sony Xperia Z is said to come with a 12MP snapper, it’s reported to function better than the 13MP camera included on the back of the Sony Xperia T. The Xperia Z is also rumored to come with a separate shutter key.

Another Sony device to appear on the site was Xperia Odin or Xperia ZL as it’s called nowadays. The ZL looks bigger than the Xperia Z sibling, and just like the brother it will have water- and dust-proof capabilities: the phone is going for IP57 certification.

Other features of the Sony ZL are said to contain a unibody construction and an odd camera placement, which we’ve already experienced on the Nokia N9 – lower-right corner.
