Earlier this year, the US state of Pennsylvania changed its gambling laws to allow local casinos to offer table games like blackjack and roulette. The board is looking for a small resort with a strong appeal to out-of-state visitors, because they want the last licensed casino to be a draw for tourists, who bring revenue into the state. The license will grant the winner permission to offer up to 600 slot machines and 50 table games.

Whichever resort is finally awarded the license, it is likely that its new casino will be open only to resort customers, not to the general public.
