PokerStars Announces Latin America Tournament Dates
The Latin America Poker Tour starts on March 19th, at the Vina del Mar Enjoy Casino and Resort in Chile.
According to the latest casino gambling news, PokerStars has big plans for next year’s Latin America Poker Tour (LAPT). Season 7 of the poker event will include several exotic locations and each event will last for five days.
In addition to the usual events, Season 7 will include a $500 NLH Freeze-Out event with 30-minute levels and a $500 NLH Deep Stack Turbo with a single re-entry. “We have also standardized all main event buy-ins across the year at $1,700, except for the Grand Final at $3,000 and raised the buy-in of the NLH unlimited re-entry events from $500 to $1,100,” tournament director Michael Ward said.
Poker in exotic locations
The LAPT’s first event will take place between March 19 and 23, at the Vina del Mar Enjoy Casino and Resort in Chile. There will be a special event between May 30 and June 3, at the Sao Paulo Holiday Inn Anhembi in Brazil, where LAPT and the Brazilian Series of Poker will host a co-branded festival.
Next stop will be Panama City, namely the Panama Veneto Wyndham Grand Hotel and Casino, during July 23-27. The exact location of the next event, scheduled for September 10 to 14, is yet to be confirmed, while the Atlantic City Casino in Lima, Peru will host the event between October 15 and 19.
The Grand Final will take place between November 26 and 30 at Mantra Resort, Spa and Casino in Punta del Este, Uruguay. Players can qualify online via PokerStars satellites and all websites offer iPhone and Android casino poker software.
