Rutter’s Farm Stores initiate a partnership with the Pennsylvania Lottery Commission and will provide the winning lottery numbers in addition to exclusive lottery deals through their mobile app.

The RSS feed of the app will allow an automatic update of the winning numbers, once they are announced by the lottery, so iPhone casino and lottery fans can have an immediate access to them.

The first promotion which was launched on 30th January and since then Rutter’s customers can get a free $4 Powerball ticket with Power Play, if they purchase a $5 instant ticket at Rutter’s.

Rutter’s are improving their mobile app

The company announced this gambling news providing details about their lotto promotion through the push notification alerts of the mobile app.

Derek Gaskins, Rutter’s Chief Customer Officer, commented: “We continually develop our mobile app to meet the changing needs and expectations of our customers.”

He added: “The addition of the lottery drawing results and offers is another way we can provide our customers with convenience and value by giving them the information and the offers that they want, delivered right to their fingertips in a way they love.”

Rutter’s Farm Stores were the first to introduce a mobile app in the convenience store industry back in 2009. Afterwards, the app won several awards like the Convenience Store News’ Outstanding Tech Implementation Award in 2011 and the Best Mobile App category at the 2012 National Retail Federation’s annual convention Customer Engagement Awards.
