Samsung Exynos 5 Octa Chipsets Do Support LTE
Exynos 5 Octa LTE
Contrary to the previous rumors Samsung officially stated that the Galaxy S4 devices with Exynos 5 Octa SoCs will also be LTE capable.
We all know that there will be two versions of the upcoming Samsung Android casino flagship – the Galaxy S4. One will be based on Samsung’s very own Exynos 5 Octa chipset, while the other will utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 power. Different versions will hit different markets.
Initially, everyone thought that the Exynos 5 Octa chipset will not be capable of supporting LTE, but will instead bring more power to the Galaxy S4. Samsung has just tweeted that their proprietary SoC will indeed support all LTE bands, contrary to what the rumors were suggesting.
Turns out, the reasons for the two different versions of the mobile casino games tamer lied elsewhere. Currently, there’s shortage of Exynos 5 Octa chipsets, which led the Korean giant to opt for Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 arrangement, in order not to delay the launch of the device.
However, the fact that Exynos 5 Octa does support LTE connectivity, doesn’t mean that every Samsung Galaxy S4 will be offering 4G connectivity to its owners. We’ll have to wait until further clarifications from Samsung or until the smartphone actually does launch, in order to learn the full truth.
