Samsung Galaxy Mega Release Date in Philippines Rumored for June 15
Galaxy Mega duo
Some sources point to the Philippines as the first market to see the launch of Samsung’s next phablet duo – the Mega 6.3 and Mega 5.8.
Ever since the Samsung Galaxy Mega duo was announced, mobile casino gamblers were wondering when and where the phablet duo will be appearing first. The latest rumors say that the first market to receive the devices will be the Philippines. The phablets are said to launch on June 15 there, but there’s still no information on the pricing policy.
The bigger of the two Android casino monsters, Galaxy Mega 6.3, sports a 1.7GHz dual-core CPU with 1.5GB or RAM, 8MP back snapper and 2MP front unit. There’s also 8GB of built-in storage space, a 3,200mAh battery source, LTE support, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.
The smaller brother, Galaxy Mega 5.8, is running on the same OS, but has somewhat modest power specs: 1.4GHz dual-core CPU, and 2,600mAh battery, which will still be enough for lengthy Android blackjack sessions. This device doesn’t support LTE, and will utilize HSPA to the maximum in order to supply owners with data.
It’s still a mystery when the devices will reach the international market, and this particular Philippines rumor can still turn out to be a hoax. We will monitor the news closely and bring you the latest updates as they surface. Make sure to tune back in for fresh updates.
