Samsung Officially Confirms the Galaxy Note II Release Date

Following a multitude of rumors and discussions the Samsung Galaxy Note II is finally official confirmed by the manufacturer.
Samsung just held its pre-IFA event, confirming the much-speculated Galaxy Note II phoneblet. Most of the previously rumors about the device’s features and specs have been confirmed much to the delight of the real money mobile casino players.
The device will come with a 5.5 inch SuperAMOLED screen with 1280×720 resolution, Exynos 4 Quad chipset with a quad-core 1.6GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM and an extremely large 3,100 mAh battery. Such power is bound to change the way we perceive current mobile casino games forever.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II will be thinner than the original model sporting only 9.4 mm body, the extra spacious battery only brings 2 extra grams of weight with it – 180 grams in total. In terms of filming the new phoneblet will offer Android casino regulars an 8MP snapper on the back and a 1.9MP camera on the front.
The stylus – S-Pen – has undergone changes too. It became longer and thicker to provide more comfortable ergonomics. The stylus also packing some new features: Air View, Quick Command, and others. Air View lets users hover the stylus over a video, gallery, email and other things to preview the content before opening the designated app. Quick Command is a special gesture allowing users to activate any of the frequently used applications.
The new device will support both 4G LTE and HSPA+ connectivity. The Samsung Galaxy Note II comes in 16GB, 32, and 64GB internal memory variants. MicroSD card slot is also included for further extension.
The release date is set for October in Europe, while the rest of the world and USA in particular have to wait a little longer. So far no pricing policy has been revealed.
