Just weeks ago, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives passed a bill legalizing table games at casinos throughout the state of Pennsylvania. New information is emerging about just what will be involved on the part of casinos if they want to add blackjack tables to their casinos, and some establishments, like the Sands Casino, already have the ball rolling.

The Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem expects to have table games up and running by the time summer arrives. The casino has stalled plans that were in the works for a 300-room hotel and event center in order to focus on offering tables, which they hope will attract high rollers and bring in extra income.

Naturally, adding table games means the casino will have to hire dealers. They plan to start with 80 to 100 tables, which means a lot of new staff. Other Pennsylvania casinos are also hiring, like the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs which is looking for 300 new dealers. Starting in mid-February, the Mohgean Sun will start running a casino school to teach the new recruits.

Legal blackjack is just a few months away for Pennsylvania residents. In the meantime, they can enjoy the game online, at any one of these top online casinos that accept US players. These sites offer single player games, multiplayer tournaments, blackjack bonuses, VIP comps benefits, and a whole lot more! Join one today to get in shape for the summer, when tables will open up all across the state.
