Seed Funds Help Bee Cave Promote Blackjack Game
Second seed round proves even more successful for Bee Cave Games.
A seed round led by Matrix Partners and Dragonrise Capital brought social and mobile casino games developer Bee Cave Games $1.9 million in funds. This is an impressive amount of money that will give the company the opportunity to market its products on Facebook, iOS and Android.
The company is based in Texas and was launched back in 2012. The newly-raised funds will allow it to further develop and promote its online blackjack game, Bee Cave Blackjack. Erik Bethke, chief executive officer of Bee Cave Games, said: “This investment will allow us to continue our rapid pace of development as we break new ground in social casino game play.”
Seed funding success
This is not the first time when Matrix Partners helps Bee Cave Games raise money via seed rounds. In July 2013, the company raised an additional $1.3 million.
This money meant a great deal for the social games developer, which recently added slot games to its already existing casino. With the new Social Spins feature, the game allows users to play together and share free spins.
Furthermore, Bee Cave Games expanded its services into real-money gambling. Back in October, the company announced it was working with online platform Betable to provide British customers with real-money gaming.
