Short Battery Charge of Apple IOS5 Ruining Mobile Gamers Lives
iOS 5.0.1 update
Apple has officially acknowledged a battery life bug in its latest iOS 5 and release an update aimed at solving the problem.
Some fans of mobile casinos who have selected the latest Apple iOS, the iOs 5, to power their mobile gaming needs, were bitterly disappointed to discover that a battery life bug caused by the latest OS will be a part of their lives for a long time to come. Apple has been feverishly working on a fix to update the power drain caused by the iOS bug, eventually releasing the iOS 5.0.1 update much quicker than expected.
iPhone casinos were affected when gamers split along philosophical lines (Camp A) refused to see a problem with the battery due to a fanatical dedication to Apple, while (Camp B) said that there was a battery problem with the Apple iOS which is now gone thanks to the iOS 5.0.1 However, there are those, who claim that the upgrade hasn’t solved anything, and those are now treated as the mortal enemy, the betrayers and blasphemers by Both Caps A and B.
Now that’s a major blow for Apple, which hoped to lure a considerable number of mobile gamers under its colors with the help of iPhone 4S and the iOS 5. The failed attempt to fix the battery life bug may prove to be a major embarrassment for the company and leave the door open to Samsung and HTC to grab some part of the juicy mobile casino gambling pie with their latest devices.
And let’s not forget the approaching launch of Galaxy Nexus, featuring the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich, which is regarded as the main competitor to iOS 5 in regards to mobile gaming. Come on now, Apple, we know you can do better.
The official Apple statement on the issue reads: “The recent iOS software update addressed many of the battery issues that some customers experienced on their iOS 5 devices. We continue to investigate a few remaining issues.”
It’s understandable that Apple won’t rest until the bug is fixed, too much is at stake here. It remains to be seen how quickly they can come up with a new update.
