Sony Hayabusa
Mobile gamers have been dreaming about the Sony Hayabusa device for a long time, there’s a full review now to entice them further.
An undisclosed source laid their hands on an engineering sample of the upcoming Sony Xperia LT29i Hayabusa and shared the details with the real money mobile gambling community.
The device is an 8.6mm thick smartphone, weighing 127g and offering the same curved body as Xperia arc. But, it’s the insides of the device that are more interesting to Android casino regulars. The smartphone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 chipset with a dual-core 1.5GHz Krait CPU.
Other power features of the Hayabusa include an Adreno 225 GPU, 1GB of RAM and the usual arsenal of connectivity options. The display is a 4.6 inch LCD unit with 720p resolution, which should prove enough for extra-quality mobile casino games.
The whole thing is operated by a highly customized version of Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. Intriguing stuff includes an illuminated XPERIA logo under the screen, which also pulses to the music rhythm.
One of the main attractions of the device is the 13MP snapper on the back with LED flash and FullHD video recording capabilities. The smartphone will also feature a noise canceling microphone, NFC antenna, 1700mAh battery, and a microSD card slot.
No official information on the release date is yet available, however, we do have some strong suggestions that the Japanese version of the phone – Xperia GX launches on August 9. The international version may hit the stores as late as October this year. Keep checking back in for further updates.
