Sony Xperia S and Samsung Galaxy Note to Get Jelly Bean Update in May
Sony Xperia S
The initial Sony promise stipulated that the Xperia S will receive the Jelly Bean update by the end of March.
A wealth of mobile casino gamers have been truly disappointed at the very least, when Sony broke their promise to update the Xperia S device with the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean by the end of March. The fresh rumors suggest that magical date has now been moved to May. The news comes from the update schedule of the French SFR carrier.
The Sony Xperia S has been launched back in February 2012 powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread at that time, and was quite a powerful mobile casino games tool. Later on the device got updated to Ice Cream Sandwich, and further down the line it was officially short-listed to receive the Jelly Bean.
Not too many smartphones these days can withstand such a test of time, however, it looks like it will be the last update for the device. After all, only diamonds inside Android slots are forever.
The same update roadmap spills the beans on the original Galaxy Note, which is expected to receive the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean as well. The upgrade should happen also in May, and would be the last update the first Note gets.
