Sony Xperia ZR Rumored to Deliver IP58 Rating
Sony Xperia ZR
Sony Xperia ZR is rumored to be unveiled soon, sporting a pretty decent set of specification for mobile gamers.
Apparently the next Sony smartphone will be the Xperia ZR Android casino monster. Fresh rumors suggest a 720p screen, a 13MP snapper and a quad-core processor to feature among the specifications of the upcoming device.
It looks like the upcoming smartphone will come with lots of Xperia Z flagship features including the 1.5GHz quad-core CPU of the Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset, and 2GB of RAM. Other specs will include a 13MP Exmor RS snapper. The Xperia ZR is said to come with an IP58 rating, which means it can withstand submersion of up to 1.5m under water. Dustproof capabilities are there too.
The screen of the mobile casino tamer is expected to be a 4.6 inch unit with 720p resolution, while the built-in memory will be limited at 8GB. The power source is a 2,300mAh unit, not a fat one, but should be enough for lots of things. As for the design it’s expected to look more similar to the ZL rather than the Z with its dual-glass body.
There’s no release date information yet, but if Sony usually announces their devices pretty soon after such info has been leaked, so make sure to check back in regularly to see our news updates.
