Following widespread rumors on the Samsung Galaxy Note II, the device is almost officially announced with minor changes in specs.

Mobile casino games forums are full of fresh confirmations regarding the launch date and specs of the Samsung Galaxy Note. The successor of the widely popular and highly successful blend of a smartphone and tablet promises to be yet another hit from Samsung.

One thing is certain, the previously reported 5.5 inch SuperAMOLED screen seems to be confirmed, moreover, the design of the new Note will reflect that of the latest Samsung flagship – Galaxy S III, namely sexy, curved shape, much to the delight of mobile casino fans. This explains the fact that despite a larger screen, the second model will actually have a smaller width than the predecessor.

Another change in respect to the previous rumors focuses on the release date. The Android casino monster is now rumored to see the light of day in September, rather than October. Samsung obviously wants to steal some customers away from the potential buyers of the iPhone 5, scheduled for release in October.

So far the rumors referring to the 2GB of RAM, 8MP snapper, and the new Exynos 5250 chipset with a dual-core ARM-15 CPU haven’t been confirmed. No word on the pricing info still.
