The Samsung Galaxy S III Release Date Draws Mobile Gambling Attention
Galaxy S III
Mobile gamblers continue to wonder if the latest Samsung Galaxy S III rumors reflect the real specification of the smartphone.
The Samsung flagship Galaxy S III is once again in the media spotlight as ever-curious fans of mobile casinos allegedly laid their hands on the upcoming device and shared its specs and images with the rest of the world.
Although the device in question is only a mock-up, designed to prevent leakage of what the final version will look like, nevertheless the discovered specifications seem real enough. Among the most interesting discoveries is naturally the CPU – the Samsung’s proprietary quad-core clocked at 1.4GHz.
The GPU is unchanged from the current flagship – Galaxy S II. The Mali-400MP is so good at offering excellent mobile casino games experience that there’s really no need to upgrade it. Among other features of the phone is the 4.6 inch screen with 720p resolution and whopping 320ppi pixel density. Moreover the screen is supposed to be a SuperAMOLED one, but it’s yet unclear whether it’s a Plus version or not.
As the allegedly “live” video depicts, part of the Galaxy S III screen is reserved for on-screen controls coming with the Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Regulars of Android casinos even went as far as predicting some kind of a hotkey for casino access, naturally, only a rumor.
On the back of the device is a microSD card slot and a SIM slot of the same size, suggesting the microSIM standard for the next gen Galaxy S. The NFC connectivity support and an enormous 2050mAh battery are also nice additions.
In the camera department S III disappoints with “only” 8MP snapper, as opposed to previously reported 12MP. However, some experts were quick to suggest that it’s only a software limitation, but so far there’s no real way to confirm the final camera capacity.
The release date for the Samsung Galaxy S III is rumored to be set for May 3, so just a little over a week more to go. Be patient, and all will be revealed.
