Triple Attack Blackjack Named Best New Casino Table Game of 2010
Casino table game manufacturer/distributor Galaxy Gaming had medaled at the Cutting Edge Table Games Conference in Las Vegas in two consecutive years, but Galaxy never won the big one – until this year. Galaxy Gaming was proud to announce this week that it had taken the “Best New Table Game of 2010” award, as bestowed by the trade publication Casino Journal, at the conference at the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
In Triple Attack Blackjack is a blackjack variation in which players get three opportunities to wager. In addition to the standard pre-deal bet, players may bet after seeing their first card and/or the dealer’s face-up card. “Six Card Charlies” and non-blackjack 21s may also be winners for the player.
As a result of the win, Galaxy Gaming immediately received an order from the California-based Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino and an offer to distribute Triple Attack Blackjack from Galaxy competitor Shuffle Master – the latter of which Galaxy Gaming officials politely declined.
Founded in 1998 and based in Las Vegas, Galaxy Gaming is today said to be the world’s second-largest developer/manufacturer of table games. Other titles produced by Galaxy include Dueces Wild, Emperor’s Challenge, Lucky Ladies and Texas Shootout.
