After Microsoft has officially announced the release of the latest Windows Phone 8 OS, read more in our Windows Phone 8 Devices to Hit the Stores this Week, mobile casino fans can’t wait to lay their hands on the devices, running on the new system. British gamers are in luck: the Nokia Lumia 820 is already available for pre-orders on the Isles.
The first retailer to list the new device is Carphone Warehouse. The Nokia Lumia will set back Windows mobile casino games fans GBP 379.95 in a SIM-free version. The smartphone is expected to start shipping next week.
Other British stores also offer the smartphone on pre-order basis, but failed to mention a pricing policy so far. Windows mobile casino enthusiasts can order their Lumia 820s at Phones4UK and Expansys as well.
Naturally, British wireless carriers Vodafone, O2, and Orange will also be offering the Nokia Lumia 820. Orange is generous and will offer the device for free with a GBP 31/month data plan, which includes 750MB of data and unlimited SMS.
Expect the rest of the WP8 smartphones to hit the stores in the very near future. The likes of Nokia Lumia 920, HTC 8X and Samsung ATIV Odyssey are expected to rule the Windows mobile gambling world in the coming months.
