Xiaomi Mi-Two Release Date Confirmed by Co-Founder
Xiaomi Mi-Two
According to the company’s co-founder the much anticipated power-phone is scheduled to go into mass production today.
Xiaomi surprised many industry insiders and, naturally, mobile casino games enthusiasts, when they announced the Mi-Two. The smartphone will become the first smartphone to feature a quad-core Krait CPU. And although the LG Optimus G (also the quad-core Krait wonder) will start shipping first, the Xiaomi still gets to win because their announcement came first.
The co-founder also revealed that the Android casino tamer will have a 32GB variant as well, on top of the originally planned 16GB version. Most important specs include 2GB of RAM, Qualcomm APQ8064 chipset, 4.3 inch IPS LCD screen with 720p resolution and 342ppi.
The phone will also have to options for the battery: 2000mAh and 3000mAh. Way more than enough to make those lengthy Android blackjack sessions run forever.
The Xiaomi Mi-Two monster of a smartphone is expected to hit the stores in mid-October at a price around $315 for the 16GB model, the pricing policy for the 32GB one is yet to be announced, however.
The phone should have no problem selling well, considering the Xiaomi Mi-One S success selling 200,000 units in under 30 minutes. Read more in our Xiaomi Mi-One S Sells Like Hotcakes in China article.
