ZTE Apache
Mobile gambling could improve drastically with the rumored launch of the ZTE Apache featuring an 8 core processor.
Following the rumors about Samsung working on an 8 core chipset, there are now suggestions that ZTE plans to launch an 8 core CPU device too. The possible mobile casino games tamer is called Apache, and it is supposed to become available sometime next year.
The 8 core chipset is said to come from MediaTek utilizing the TSMC 28nm process with Cortex-A15 processors onboard. Such enormous power source could change the way we see mobile casino gambling forever.
As for the specs, the ZTE Apache is said to sport a 1080p screen, a 13MP snapper as well as 3G and 4G LTE connectivity. Although the information is scarce, it’s enough to grab the attention of technophiles and mobile casino gamers alike.
If we look at the recent history, the dual-core CPUs were launched back in 2011, the quad-cores came in early this year. That makes the possible 2013 launch of an 8 core powered smartphone quite possible.
No information is yet available if ZTE will be using the same big.LITTLE architecture Samsung is currently working on for their 8 core chipsets, but it could very well be a possibility.
Rumors suggest a May, 2013 launch date for the ZTE Apache, however, at this stage it’s too early to state anything with certainty. Look out for our updates on the matter.
