Blackjack Mini Review: An Introduction
A Playtech game called Blackjack Mini is based on European Blackjack. The mobile player audience is targeted by the multi-hand blackjack variation. The game is played on a green table with a maximum of three player places. It uses the same standard basic blackjack rules as what you will find in the majority of online casinos. Moreover, the RTP for Blackjack Mini is 99.58%. To learn the Blackjack Mini rules, continue reading.
How to play Blackjack Mini
Players can play three places at once in Blackjack Mini. The objective of the game is the same as in conventional blackjack games. Players must attempt to get as near to 21 as they can without “going bust” in order to win. A hand that totals more than 21 instantly loses and goes bust.
While Jack, Queen, and King are each worth 10, all other numbered cards retain their face value. Depending on the other cards in the hand, aces can be used as either a 1 or an 11. Blackjack Mini’s strongest hand, known as “Blackjack,” is made up of an Ace and a 10-value card.
Blackjack Mini rounds must be initiated by placing chips on at least one of the available spots on the table. The top of the screen is where the chips are. The available chip sizes in Blackjack Mini are 0.1, 0.5, 1, 5, 10, 25, and 100. For each wagering option, the minimum and maximum bets are 1 and 100, respectively.
A Round of Blackjack Mini
When the player presses the “Deal” button on the right side of the screen after placing their chips, the dealer deals the cards. The dealer deals each player two face-up cards after pressing the button, then shows one face-up and one face-down card in their hand. The player will be allowed to place a “Insurance wager” if the dealer is showing an Ace. If the dealer has Blackjack, this costs half of the player’s stake and pays 2:1. The round goes on as usual if the dealer doesn’t have blackjack.
After receiving their cards, the player will be able to choose how to play their hand. They can pick between one of the following actions:
- Hit – by choosing to hit, the player receives an additional card to their total. There is no limit on how many cards the player can receive. However, they must be cautious not to go bust.
- Stand – by choosing to stand, the player does not receive any further cards and keeps their hand total as it is.
- Double – by choosing to double, the player receives a single additional card and then immediately stands. In doing so, the player also places a second wager that doubles their bet.
- Split – whenever the player has a pair, they can split the cards into two separate hands. By choosing to split, the player doubles their bet and plays both hands independently. It is possible to split on any cards that have the same value, including combination of picture cards such as Queen and Jack or King and 10.
In addition, the dealer will also always stand on any 16 or lower and hit on any 17 or higher.
Blackjack Mini Payouts
Players will profit from a payout of 3:2 for any Blackjack hand when playing Blackjack Mini. The payment for the player is 1:1 if the player’s hand is stronger than the dealer’s or if the dealer’s hand fails. The round finishes in a tie and the player’s bet is refunded as a push whenever the player’s hand and the dealer’s hand have the same value. When both the player and the dealer have blackjack, the same applies. The player receives a payout of 2:1, which effectively recovers their stake, if they place an insurance bet and the dealer shows an Ace.
